In this project
Alongside large-scale architecture, I keep a hands-on practice: a way of testing materials, gestures and construction by building directly, with my own hands.
wood and acoustics
It began in Italy with a wooden audio system — loudspeakers and an amplifier with a Bluetooth receiver, designed in 3D and CNC-milled, then assembled and finished by hand, where acoustics, joinery and the grain of the wood had to agree.
reclaimed wood and bamboo
In Salvador, Bahia, the work turned to recycled wood: shelving and a workbench built from reclaimed timber, and a bamboo armchair shaped and woven by hand — furniture made with local material and simple tools.
raw earth
In Peru I took part in raw-earth and natural construction, working with adobe, stone and traditional techniques — architecture reduced to its most essential, tactile gestures.
